Restaurant Hood Maintenance

ANNOUNCEMENT!!
March 2009, Maine Fire Prevention Services sold the Hood Maintenance part of their business. You can still contact us if your business requires a hood cleaning. The new company is now "Stewart's Pressure Washing Services". They are located at 63 Hutchinson Rd. Linneus, ME  04730. They can be reached at 207-538-1867. They will offer the same high quality service you had been receiving by our company. See description below:

Do you have built up grease in your hood, ducts & fan? Our technicians are trained and certified to handle all of your hood maintenance needs.
  • Fans: a thorough cleaning inside and out, inspection of all moving parts and changing of drive belts if needed
  • Ducts: our modern equipment includes a spinning nozzle that goes deep into the ducts, to dissolve grease build-up, we also inspect all ducts for proper grease tight conditions-no leakages
  • Hoods: we clean and remove all grease, which includes polishing of all stainless hoods

You can see the grease break down as the chemicals are sprayed

Grease flows into a "catch" bucket as it is broken down

Once all grease has broken down, the whole hood, duct and fan are rinsed until clean. Sometimes this also requires the crew to scrape the remainder by hand.
